When deciding which of the cities in America are the best for car lovers factors taken into account include the amount of auto repair shops, car washes, car dealerships, clubs and the amount of car shows per capita. So with this in mind here is our list of the top 10 best cities in America for car lovers.

St. Louis is a place for car lovers as the city offers more car maintenance places than any other city per capita. It also comes out on top for the amount of car dealerships in the area and it has plenty of organizations such as the St. Louis Sports Car Club of America.
9 Birmingham, AL


Residents of Birmingham in Alabama love their cars and it seems that they also like to carpool as out of 88 places in the US that were looked into, Birmingham, AL came out on top for carpooling. Birmingham also has the fourth most of everything in the list and one of the biggest car shows, the Alabama International Auto Show. Due to the fact that the population is relatively small there are more shows per person.

Las Vegas is known for its strip and plenty of people take their cars to cruise down it and show them off. Vegas ranked high in all categories and came in 7th place for the amount of repair shops, while car shows and car dealers were high on the list. Las Vegas is also well known for being home to the SEMA show, this is a show that features the industry leaders from around the world.

Cincinnati comes in top in the majority of categories but it seems that more people like to drive their own car as carpooling in just 10.26% in Cincinnati. Cincinnati is home to the fourth most car clubs per capita, plus fourteenth most cars shows and is home to many repair shops, car dealerships and car washes.

Miami is home to a large number of car shows, including the Festivals of Speed. However residents like to use their own cars as only 10.44% of people like to carpool. There are many car dealerships in the city and Miami is the nineteenth ranked city for repair shops.

Tampa is the third best Florida city in the US for car lovers due to it being home to the sixth most repairs shops in the US, eleventh for car dealerships and sixteenth for having the most car washes. It came in tenth for car clubs, including being home to the Mustang Club of Tampa and Tampa Knights. It is also comes in seventeenth for the most car shows held each year per capita.
3 Orlando, FL

Orlando is home to one of the biggest car shows in the US, the Central Florida International Auto Show. The city is also known to have more car shows than 90 others in the country. It offers the fifth most dealerships along with repair shops and the seventh most car washes.
2 Pittsburgh, PA

Pittsburgh, PA comes in top for being home to more car shows than any other big city in the whole of the US per capita. This is where you will need to be if you want to see the Annual Innovative Autoworks World of Wheels or the Pittsburgh International Auto Show. Pittsburgh is also home to more car repair shops per capita out of 89 others.
10 Riverside, CA

Riverside, CA may be low down on the list for being home to car shows and car clubs. However is it the perfect US location for driving with an average commute time being around 28 minutes and 12.02% of residents choosing to carpool.
